Decent depth, varietal flavor, well-managed tannins—all present and accounted for here. There’s a mix of red and blue berries, and a wash of wet stone adding texture to the mouthfeel. The finish falls a bit short, but that’s what separates it from the pricier bottles.
Golden color and a characteristic nose with hints of yellow, exotic fruit, wax, toast and spices. The palate is full-bodied, the attack sweet and evolving into aromas of fruit, spice and honey with unique notes of botrytis. Very harmonious with a good balance sugar acidity and a liquorous material without excess.
